George Harlov, M. Div. is a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in S. Hamilton, MA. George was born in Kobrin, Belarus in 1956. In 1960 his family migrated to Riga, Latvia. In 1989 he immigrated to US from former Soviet Union with wife Olga and two children, Kathy and Philipp. Third child, Walter was born in the US.
● George dedicated his life to Christ in 1978 and was deeply involved in youth and music ministry in Riga, Latvia. In 1983 he completed his undergraduate studies at the Bible Institute in Moscow, the only Christian education possible in former Soviet Union at that time.
In 1990 George was appointed by SMS and RUEBU as church planter and a missionary coordinator in New England ministering to Slavic immigrants. He organized numerous youth conferences and rallies for Slavic youth in the US.
He was ordained to ministry in 1995 by the Slavic Baptist Church in Peabody, MA. and became its first pastor.
George is a members of several boards, currently serves as Vice President of RUEBU. He is a BWA General Council member and serves with North America Baptist Fellowship.
George, 52, his wife Olga and two sons reside in Peabody, MA.
